Welcome to Bolesworth Castle

Bolesworth Castle, a traditional country house close to major road networks and offering easy access to Chester, Manchester and Liverpool. This year Aladdin and the Genie take center stage, with all sorts of weird and wonderful adventures to be had!

Pick your own sunflowers, pose for a photo in the wildflowers, and weave your way through our bee trail (look out for all our busy bees working hard!). There are crafts to make, ice creams to eat and food to enjoy.

Crafts

We have plenty of crafts to get stuck into, from wish catchers to bubble wands and much more!

Prices range from £2 to £7

Wild Flowers

Our wildflowers our fragrant, bright and colourful. They have been specially chosen for their bee and butterfly appeal! Look out for our bees, they are busy making honey for us!

Picnic Area

In addition to sunflowers, we have our new bee trail and picnic area, a picturesque spot to relax and have your lunch or a tasty treat.

PYO Sunflowers

We have 9 varieties of sunflowers to pick, take home and once you have enjoyed looking at them we have plenty of ideas on our At Home page on what to do with them! We also have a wrapping station on site to make beautiful bouquets for your friends and family (or yourself!).

Single stem £1 or 6 stems for £5.00

Photo Op

With so many places to snap a picture, we know your insta feed is going to be looking top tier. Make sure to tag us – we love to see your wonderful pictures and even share them to our socials!

Trails

Take a walk through the sunflowers and find your favourites. Secateurs will be required for picking and gloves should be handy too! You may wish to bring a big bag to carry home your bouquets.

Facilities

Lots of space to run around, stroll and play. We have portaloo toilets, disabled toilets.

There will also be food, drinks and snacks onsite.

Please note we do not allow dogs on site except registered guide dogs.

What to bring

All-weather clothes, wellies, umbrellas, sunscreen, sunhat.

Secateurs and gloves for picking and a big bag to take home your sunflowers.

PYO Sunflowers

Sunflowers, while always beautiful, can also be fickle and unpredictable! Our seeds were planted with the hope that they will bloom through August, they and the weather may have other plans. Please check Patch Conditions for information.
