For Autumn 2022 we have a fabulous range of activities for you all to enjoy at Maidenhead.

For the budding pumpkinologists there are 10 acres of pumpkin to pick, for the craft, lots to create, make and take, and for the intrepid journey into our new Halloween Maize Maze is not to be missed!

An October night, in the dark, the rustle of old Maize in the breeze... You are lost and you can feel something watching from the shadows but can't see them... yet!

Welcome to Spooky Fun in the Maize Maze

We will have 2 types of Halloween Maze experiences. Our day time maze is child friendly and not too spooky. Evenings in the Maze are dark, fun and a little unnerving - are you brave enough?

PYO Pumpkins

PYO Pumpkins is our favourite activity alongside getting lost in Mazes and eating ice cream! We have 1000s and 1000s and 1000s of pumpkins in our fields all waiting to be picked, carved and eaten!

Put your wellies on, grab a wheelbarrow and go for a leisurely walk, or a crazy screaming run, depending on your mood, and discover which Pumpkins choose to go home with you this year!

We are also happy to teach you some Pumpkinology! Pumpkinology has, until now, only been taught at schools for witches & wizards, but we think it is the most exciting subject in the world so have some wonderful secrets to share!

Parking and entry are free, please keep in mind during wet weather our fields become muddy and sites will be closed if weather conditions make the site unsafe.

We have plenty of crafts to get stuck into, from wish catchers to bubble wands and much more!

Wild Flowers

Our wildflowers our fragrant, bright and colourful. They have been specially chosen for their bee and butterfly appeal! Look out for our bees, they are busy making honey for us!

Picnic Area

In addition to sunflowers, we have our new bee trail and picnic area, a picturesque spot to relax and have your lunch or a tasty treat.

PYO Sunflowers

We have 9 varieties of sunflowers to pick, take home and once you have enjoyed looking at them we have plenty of ideas on our At Home page on what to do with them! We also have a wrapping station on site to make beautiful bouquets for your friends and family (or yourself!).

Single stem £1 or 6 stems for £5.00

Photo Op

With so many places to snap a picture, we know your insta feed is going to be looking top tier. Make sure to tag us – we love to see your wonderful pictures and even share them to our socials!

Trails

Take a walk through the sunflowers and find your favourites. Secateurs will be required for picking and gloves should be handy too! You may wish to bring a big bag to carry home your bouquets.
